MDs are MDs, and DCs are DCs

Medical doctors are real doctors just as doctors of chiropractic are real doctors. Both have earned degrees from a government accredited medical school or chiropractic college and both are licensed to practice. However, each specialty has a different focus for care and treatment of their patients.

Medical doctors treat the disease and its accompanying symptoms by studying the blood and utilizing medication as indicated.

Chiropractors, on the other hand, first see the person with a disease and strive to improve the integrity of the nervous system and reduce the causes of nerve interference while restoring appropriate body function.

These are obviously two quite differing philosophies but each is important. Visit a medical doctor for broken bones or a car accident. For chronic pain or a solution for wellness, chiropractic care can help you find health resolution.
